Rapper Young Thug‘s trial shook the world, with Brian Steel becoming a celebrity attorney more in the public eye than ever before. The trial itself captured the imagination of many, who no longer have to wonder what exactly went down in detail.
The reason is simple; there is a new documentary on the trial that will release in 2027 on Netflix. Titled Young Thug On Trial, the documentary is a 90-minute feature directed by Shianne Brown and produced by Passion Docs.
It is being described formally as a “Major feature documentary covering the extraordinary rise and trial of Jeffery Williams, aka Young Thug, and his band of brothers from the streets of Atlanta. Prosecutors set out to prove that he and his music label were actually a criminal street gang. High drama meets farce in this incredible story where a city and even rap itself are on trial.” How excited are you?
