Cardi B is a performer like no other; her shows are a proof of the fact. However, we are sure you haven’t seen Cardi B with a live band like this ever before.
Taking the Tiny Desk Concert mic by storm and starting off bold in a blazer and leather pants, Cardi B “ran this shit like Cardi-O” as she once rapped herself. From powerful distorted guitars to synths and complete horn sections, the performance was an absolute rollercoaster. Certainly a fantastic adaptation of beats that have felt more digital and for the club.
She also littered her set with humorous quips between songs, drinking water and telling the crowd it is because she smokes cigarettes right before singing and rapping again from the heart. Fan or not, this is a Tiny Desk performance you must check out.
