Dr. Dre has made a shocking revelation in his latest interview with the New York Times alongside Jimmy Iovine. The legendary producer said he’s using Artificial Intelligence tech as part of his music making process.
“I think the only people that see it as a threat are the people who have trouble creating,” he said. He also spoke about a conversation he had with a few people a few days ago and mentioned that they were against AI and sounded like “the person that would have been against the drum machine when it came out, or synthesisers.”

At some point, Jimmy Iovine also revealed the fact that there are a lot of closet AI producers in the industry and even mentioned Timbaland, calling him a brilliant producer who also incorporates AI in his workflow.
