Chris Brown has released an album, which may very well be the most anticipated Chris Brown project in recent times. Known for his buttery R&B flows, sensual delivery and a flamboyant stage experience, Chris Brown has crafted this project with clear intention of setting a benchmark.

We knew this when he first posed the same as Michael Jackson (and also Teddy Pendergrass, Luther Vandross) for the cover art of the project, but now we get to hear it and feel it the way he intended. The album opens slow, giving each instrument time to breathe, shine and evoke, after which Chris finally comes in with his vocals. The anticipation is eased, brilliantly.

Then there’s the features to look out for, which are interesting in the best way to say the least. Chris gels well with Leon Thomas, and with the same ease, also blends styles with Glorilla and Sexxy Red. All in all, the album is a strong can of earworms; definitely a project that will grow on the listener over time.
