A few months ago on their podcast, Rory and Mal said that both Kendrick Lamar and Drake were both featured on The Fall-Off twice. The pair have been right about things in the past, but this was a particularly bold claim, so people took it with a grain of salt.
Of course, when the album finally dropped last month, neither Kendrick nor Drake were on it, but according to Cole himself, the album went through many variations over the decade that he worked on it
Now, on his appearance on Cam’ron’s TALK WITH FLEE podcast, J. Cole has confirmed that Kendrick Lamar was indeed featured on The Fall-Off twice at the time that Future’s ‘Like That‘ dropped. He calls it very inconvenient for him.
“Right at that time I had just got off tour with Drake, I had went on tour with Drake, we did that… at that time I had been working on The Fall-Off which was done and by the way, somebody leaked it… he was on two joints.”
