Blackpink’s Jennie has released her collaboration with rapper Doechii called ‘ExtraL’.
The two had been teasing the collab for a few days along with a video teaser. The song will be featured on Jennie’s upcoming first full-length solo album Ruby which is set for release on March 7. The album will include 15 songs, including her single ‘Mantra‘ which was released last October.
To mark the release of her album, Jennie will host “The Ruby Experience” shows at Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on March 6 and 7, Radio City Music Hall in New York on March 10 and Inspire Arena in Incheon on March 15. Watch the music video directed by Cole Bennett below.
Doechii recently revealed she channeled her inner It-girl energy to overcome suicidal thoughts stemming from hate in new interview with The Cut, saying “…I realized, Oh, f*ck, I’m gonna kill myself and then I’m gonna be the only one dead. The bullies aren’t gonna be with me, and everything they said is not coming with me either. I would just be gone,” […] I made a choice, a decision. I am the most important character in this movie. This is my motherfucking movie.”
