50 Cent-Produced Documentary on Diddy Confirmed for Netflix; Proceeds to Support Assault Victims

50 Cent will produce a documentary on Diddy abuse allegations for Netflix, it has been confirmed today.

Back in May, 50 first revealed that Netflix had won a bidding war over the documentary which is produced by 50 “Curtis Jackson” Cent’s G-Unit Film and Production Studios.

“ok guys we’re all making good television mines just happens to be the best!” he wrote, in part, alongside a split image of him and Diddy. “NETFLIX wins the bidding war but if more victims keep coming out … I’m gonna need more episodes,” he said at the time.

Alexandria Stapleton is directing the project, which is currently in production.

“This is a story with significant human impact. It is a complex narrative spanning decades, not just the headlines or clips seen so far,” 50 Cent and Stapleton said in an exclusive statement to Variety. “We remain steadfast in our commitment to give a voice to the voiceless and to present authentic and nuanced perspectives. While the allegations are disturbing, we urge all to remember that Sean Combs’ story is not the full story of hip-hop and its culture. We aim to ensure that individual actions do not overshadow the culture’s broader contributions.”

50 also said that proceeds from the documentary will be used to support sexual assault victims.

Diddy was arrested in New York last week and charged on three counts: racketeering conspiracy; sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty, but remains in custody as he was denied bail at his appeal hearing.
