Back in March when Dr. Dre received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, he announced on Jimmy Kimmel’s show that Eminem would be dropping a new album in 2024. A few weeks later, Em formally announced the album as The Death Of Slim Shady, dropping a trailer for it.
Now, with a somewhat cryptic post on social media, it looks like we know when we can expect the first taste of new music from the LP.
Em just posted a video that looks like an iMessage screenshot. The message, sent with invisible ink, reads “…and for my last trick!” and was sent at midnight on May 31st, which is Friday next week. Of course, new music drops at midnight EST on Fridays, so fans think this is when we can expect a single, or maybe even the full LP. Some are speculating that “last trick” might be referring to this being the rapper’s last album.
