Diddy has more legal trouble coming his way.
A producer of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ most recent album The Love Album, filed a lawsuit against the music mogul on Monday in federal court, claiming that Diddy had been drugging, harassing, and threatening him sexually for more than a year.
Combs is accused of forcing Jones to hire prostitutes and pressuring him into having unwanted intercourse with them and other people. He also allegedly offered alcoholic beverages laced with drugs to partygoers who frequented his homes. The producer, Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, says in the lawsuit that he lived and traveled with Diddy from September 2022 to November 2023, during which time he recorded hours of video and audio of him, his staff and others “engaging in serious illegal activity.”
The lawsuit, which was submitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, lists Justin Combs, his adult son; Kristina Khorram, his chief of staff; Sir Lucian Grainge, the CEO of Universal Music Group; and Ethiopia Habtemariam, the former CEO of Motown Records, among its defendants. According to Jones’ lawsuit, Grainge, Habtemariam, Universal Music Group, Love Records, Motown Records, and Combs collaborated successfully in a “RICO enterprise” that “failed to adequately monitor, warn, or supervise” Combs, his son, and his chief of staff’s acts. Any individual or organisation that conspires to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organisations Act is considered a RICO enterprise.
Lil Rod is seeking $30 million. An attorney for Combs said Jones’ “reckless name-dropping about events that are pure fiction and simply did not happen is nothing more than a transparent attempt to garner headlines.”
“We have overwhelming, indisputable proof that his claims are complete lies. Our attempts to share this proof with Mr. Jones’ attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, have been ignored, as Mr. Blackburn refuses to return our calls,” the attorney, Shawn Holley, said in a statement. “We will address these outlandish allegations in court and take all appropriate action against those who make them.”
In December, Diddy broke his silence over the allegations from Cassie that he abused and harassed her for years. Two other women had also come out and made allegations about Diddy’s behaviour, including a woman who says Diddy drugged her and filmed himself sexually assaulting her in the 90s.
